Thank-you for choosing psychology. ‘Psychology is a science that has developed tremendously within the last century.  However, psychology is a highly academic discipline but one that is part of our everyday life and effects us all at many levels. Psychology has an important role to play in understanding other people and oneself.  Psychology is also a subject well suited for understanding cultural differences which is particularly important in an international programme.  A good psychology student is a critical thinker who is willing to ask questions and examine the evidence.  Enjoy the programme, ask lots of questions and good luck.
